N I N O is a rising British composer, recording artiste and music producer based in London • UK. Sonically, borrowing from the vast vernacular of contemporary music; incorporating elements as diverse as classical, popular and electronica.
Whilst studying towards a BMus (Hons) in Music Composition at the London College of Music in 2012, his creative versatility was realised: composing across a range of multimedia, including film, television, commercial and corporate, as well as concert repertoire. In addition to this, he has established himself as a recording artiste and producer of an innovative fusion between dark cinematic and electronic synthesis, combined with his distinctive, melancholic vocals.
This chameleon dynamic has also developed invaluable conducting and teaching experiences through his early career: from attending a leading Performing Arts Summer Camp, French Woods Festival in NYC as a Musical Director (2013) - prior to partaking in numerous community productions held within the UK - to facilitating private piano tuition in association with the highly commended Arts Academy programme, at present.
Recent projects have included collaborations with the RoundHouse as part of a short radio documentary series (2014); freelance work with MWM Associates; commissioned works by the LCM Camerata - Aether (2014) and the London Saxophone Choir - Prelude & Fugue (2015).
As of early 2015, both N I N O • Records / N I N O • Publications were established in order to oversea the multifaceted aspects of his work, such as commercial recordings, score publications, etc. The debut release of which will be a conceptual EP - Terra, that is currently in production, intending to showcase the composer's intuitive and diverse approach to music making.
